Betsy Everitt

Betsy was born in Los Angeles, CA and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1986 from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Illustrating in gouache on watercolor paper she has enjoyed a successful career, working for numerous magazines and book publishers. Her award-winning illustration has appeared in advertising campaigns, packaging and corporate designs. Her clients include such companies as AT&T, Microsoft, The Gap, and Time Inc. She has also written and illustrated a number of children's books including such titles as: Mean Soup, Frida the Wondercat, and Up the Ladder, Down the Slide. After living in London, England for several years, she is now back in sunny Los Angeles.
