Anne Horst

Anne was born in Germany, where she graduated with a MFA at the Muthesius University for Art and Design. After working for four years as a freelance designer and artist, she had the opportunity to live for several years in New Orleans, which is still an inspiration for her work. Upon her return to Germany she spent some years in Hamburg. Currently she lives with her daughter, Ella Mirabella, and her husband, in a small German town close to the ocean and the border to Denmark. Her work has been exhibited in various shows: at the MOMA in New Orleans, in Kalingrad, Russia, at the Biennale of Milan and with the Society of Illustrators in New York. Clients include Canada Post, UK Times, Continental, Delta, Theatre Francais de Toronto and National Geographic.
